Poco despu\u00e9s de cruzar la meta del <strong>Medio Marat\u00f3n de la Ciudad de M\u00e9xico<\/strong> con los brazos y la mirada en alto \u2014en se\u00f1al de triunfo y agradecimiento\u2014, el atleta de 32 a\u00f1os se desvaneci\u00f3 y su coraz\u00f3n se detuvo. A pesar de los intentos de los socorristas, \u00e9l sigui\u00f3 su camino.<\/p>\n<p>Yo, que gusto de correr y participo en carreras seguido, s\u00e9 que en cualquier momento puede suceder. \u201cDios, perm\u00edteme terminar\u201d, le digo a veces consciente de mi inconsciencia, de mis malpasadas y desvelos, sabedor de que mis pocas horas de sue\u00f1o podr\u00edan tener consecuencias fatales y de que tendr\u00eda que ser m\u00e1s cuidadoso. Pero, si lo vemos desde una perspectiva rom\u00e1ntica o po\u00e9tica, qu\u00e9 glorioso irte haciendo lo que te gusta.<\/p>\n<p>Supongo que ser\u00e1 desconcertante, pues en casos como el suyo la l\u00ednea divisoria entre uno y otro plano debe ser muy confusa. Cuando te dedicas a aquello que te realiza y de cierto modo habitas tu propio para\u00edso, una vez llegada la hora, \u00bfc\u00f3mo distinguir d\u00f3nde te encuentras?\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u00bfQu\u00e9 tan diferente ser\u00e1 all\u00e1? \u00bfY c\u00f3mo se llega?\u201d, me pregunto.<\/p>\n<p>Quiz\u00e1 para nosotros los corredores no existe el famoso t\u00fanel de luz, sino que m\u00e1s bien se trata de una cuesta. Una empinada, por supuesto, como en las que se entrena en el <strong>Bosque de Tlalpan<\/strong>, por ejemplo. Tengan la certeza de que en estos sus \u00faltimos 21 kil\u00f3metros estuvieron cerqu\u00edsima de \u00e9l, pues en las carreras a los corredores nos acompa\u00f1a nuestra gente, los verdaderamente nuestros.
