Siempre he sido muy de pedirle mensajes al Universo, alguna se\u00f1al en el firmamento, una estrella que de pronto a media noche tintinee de modo \u00fanico, a todas luces distinta; coincidencias que no dejen lugar a duda de lo sobrenatural, de que hay algo m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de lo que simplemente se ve; la aparici\u00f3n de alguien especial en un sue\u00f1o, o un acontecimiento revelador y extraordinario al d\u00eda siguiente. Hasta los faroles quer\u00eda que se manifestaran cuando era adolescente (de ah\u00ed la portada de la segunda edici\u00f3n de El Astronauta Terrestre<\/span><\/a>).<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Cierta ma\u00f1ana corr\u00eda meditabundo y con el sentido de la vida un poco confundido por el bosque, con dudas acerca de lo trascendente, de lo que en verdad importa y de si estar\u00eda haciendo bien las cosas. Suelo sostener tambi\u00e9n muchas conversaciones interiores y, precisamente, aquel d\u00eda, cuestion\u00e9 mis creencias y lo hasta entonces aprendido. Me invadi\u00f3 una desconfianza incluso de mis maestros y, como un loco, inmerso en el silencio, me atrev\u00ed a preguntarle su nombre al m\u00edo.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Este domingo, por ah\u00ed del kil\u00f3metro 20 del Marat\u00f3n de la Ciudad de M\u00e9xico Telcel<\/strong>, me sucedi\u00f3 algo parecido. Prematuramente, me sent\u00ed desorientado, adolorido y cansado, sin muchas fuerzas para continuar, y para mis adentros me pregunt\u00e9 \u201c\u00bfC\u00f3mo le voy a hacer para seguir?\u201d.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

En eso, una voz de mujer que sobresali\u00f3 de entre las porras y la algarab\u00eda de la gente, no s\u00e9 si producto de mi imaginaci\u00f3n o porque era muy efusiva, en ese instante y con total claridad grit\u00f3: \u00ab\u00a1Entr\u00e9gate a la zancada!\u00bb.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a1Entr\u00e9gate a la zancada!\u00bb<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

\u201cEntr\u00e9gate a la zancada\u201d, me repet\u00ed varias veces en mi cabeza, tan maravillado como la misteriosa vez que o\u00ed el nombre. \u201c\u00bfS\u00ed dijo eso? Es mucha coincidencia\u201d, pens\u00e9 mientras intentaba deducir qu\u00e9 habr\u00eda podido decir aquella persona que nunca alcance a distinguir, si en realidad no hab\u00eda dicho eso.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cEntr\u00e9gate a la zancada\u201d, me repet\u00ed paso a paso, sin m\u00e1s expectativa, donde todo es m\u00e1s sencillo.<\/span><\/p>\n

Casi enseguida coincid\u00ed con una corredora que avanzaba a una velocidad muy semejante a la m\u00eda, con una seguridad implacable, y me propuse seguirla como a un se\u00f1uelo. Sin embargo, luego de unos kil\u00f3metros cambi\u00f3 su cadencia y conclu\u00ed que mi camino nunca deb\u00eda depender de un tercero si quer\u00eda llegar a mi meta.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\u201cNo conviene atenernos a los objetivos de otros, ni a su buena voluntad o sus promesas, cada uno tenemos que entregarnos a nuestra propia y muy particular zancada, a nuestros talentos, a nuestras habilidades, a lo que nos vuelve \u00fanicos\u201d, conclu\u00ed.<\/span><\/p>\n
