Norte<\/strong>, Sur<\/strong>, Este<\/strong> y Oeste<\/strong>, los cuatro puntos cardinales que desde tiempos inmemoriales han servido para guiar a mujeres y hombres en sus traves\u00edas y caminos. Todos tenemos no s\u00f3lo un reloj interno, sino tambi\u00e9n una br\u00fajula interior, se dice por ah\u00ed. Todos somos un faro, todos somos nuestras propias se\u00f1ales para llegar a nuestro destino, adonde queremos ir.<\/p>\n

Sin embargo, para quienes perdemos con facilidad el Norte<\/strong> y de repente confundimos el Este<\/strong> con el Oeste, no siempre resulta sencillo ubicarnos.<\/p>\n

En las \u00faltimas semanas he tenido la oportunidad de hacer mis entrenamientos y distancias en terrenos nuevos para m\u00ed. Siempre es fascinante adentrarse en senderos desconocidos; incluso, perderse. No saber con certeza d\u00f3nde nos encontramos, o c\u00f3mo saldremos de ah\u00ed, puede llegar a ser emocionante, aunque hay un punto d\u00f3nde se vuelve necesario saber c\u00f3mo volver.<\/p>\n

Yo no suelo recurrir a los puntos cardinales para recuperar la orientaci\u00f3n. Con decirles que a veces debo voltear a verme la mano en la que traigo puesto el reloj para recordar cu\u00e1l es la izquierda, asumir\u00e1n que no me es sencillo ubicar cu\u00e1ndo el Sur<\/strong> me queda de espaldas. A m\u00ed se me hace m\u00e1s sencillo encontrar puntos de referencia en mi ruta para usarlos como pistas de por d\u00f3nde regresar: la casa de la puerta roja, el \u00e1rbol torcido, un bote de basura, un graffiti en una barda o una frase en el piso.<\/p>\n

Es como jugar un poco a Hansel y Grettel<\/strong><\/span>, los ni\u00f1os perdidos m\u00e1s famosos del mundo de la ficci\u00f3n, pero dejando migajas imaginarias que me permiten memorizar caminos en un mundo real en el que, conforme m\u00e1s me acerco al medio siglo de vida, m\u00e1s recuerdos van surgiendo en mi cabeza, como se\u00f1ales que me reiteran en silencio lo importante: regresa a ti, a lo importante, a la familia.<\/p>\n

\u201cLa vida es un viaje. Para algunos largo, para otros corto. Uno, por lo general, no decide cu\u00e1nto dura, pero en buena medida, en parte importante de sus tramos, s\u00ed depende de cada quien la velocidad con que transcurre. A unos la vida se les pasa r\u00e1pido, a unos lento\u201d, pienso mientras trato de acordarme si en la \u201cY\u201d era para la derecha o la izquierda.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Correr es un recordatorio de lo seductor que puede ser perderse y de lo m\u00e1gico que es reencontrarse.<\/p>\n
