Sin duda, uno de los factores que de pronto llevan a resaltar a una persona de entre un grupo, es la ropa. El atuendo, si salimos de los marcos habituales, nos puede hacer sobresalir de los dem\u00e1s. En un restaurante, en el sal\u00f3n de clases, el trabajo, el transporte, la fiesta o en cualquier evento, quien viste distinto, llama la atenci\u00f3n. Y no me refiero a portar la prenda de moda o alg\u00fan vestuario de lujo. Basta con ponerse algo distinto, ya sea caro o de bajo costo, para distinguirse de alg\u00fan modo del resto.<\/p>\n

Lo interesante es que hay quien lo planea, quien premeditadamente se compra ajuares o prendas para destacar y atraer las miradas, mientras que est\u00e1n los que ni siquiera se lo plantean y salen as\u00ed tan campantes a pasear por el mundo, con una naturalidad que roza la valent\u00eda o la locura.<\/p>\n

Nunca lo vi venir. Yo avanzaba a buen paso junto a un grupo basto de corredores en el circuito de siempre. Los rebas\u00e9 muy orgulloso, con mi playera y mis shorts rojos ladrillo nuevos que me regalaron mi mujer y mis hijos del D\u00eda del Padre, especialmente contento por la notable mejora de mi desgarro, cuando de pronto escuch\u00e9 detr\u00e1s m\u00edo el grito: \u201c\u00a1\u00a1\u00a1Pistaaa!!!\u201d.<\/p>\n

Con cuidado de no trompicar a nadie, me hice a la derecha para abrirle paso a un hombre que me pas\u00f3 a gran velocidad\u2026 con sus jeans, su camisa de vestir y sus mocasines negros. En un acto reflejo, todos los que est\u00e1bamos ah\u00ed nos volteamos a ver sorprendidos, como para confirmar si aquello que acab\u00e1bamos de presenciar era cierto. Podr\u00e1 no parecer cosa del otro mundo, pero no todos los d\u00edas te rebasa de tal forma alguien que m\u00e1s bien tiene pinta de que va tarde al trabajo.<\/p>\n

Por un momento pens\u00e9 eso, \u201cA este cuate se le hizo tarde y para no rodear por las calles tom\u00f3 de atajo el Vivero para llegar a tiempo a su chamba\u201d. Pero no, unos metros adelante le baj\u00f3 al ritmo para recuperarse, se mantuvo a trote un momento, mir\u00f3 su reloj y entonces volvi\u00f3 a arrancar a grandes zancadas. Estaba haciendo repeticiones de 200 metros, empapado de la cara y con una buena mancha de sudor en la espalda. Varias veces coincid\u00ed con \u00e9l en sus momentos de recuperaci\u00f3n y estuve tentado a preguntarle por qu\u00e9.<\/p>\n

No me pareci\u00f3 que se debiera a un asunto de carencia, por la falta de indumentaria apropiada, sino que quiz\u00e1 m\u00e1s bien aquel hombre no quiso perder la oportunidad de correr esa ma\u00f1ana a pesar del trabajo. Prefer\u00ed no conocer la raz\u00f3n y mejor imaginar tantos posibles e irracionales supuestos.<\/p>\n
