Le ped\u00ed a <strong>Alonso<\/strong> su hijo que me concedieran media hora. Lo conozco porque hace 25 a\u00f1os trabajamos en la misma firma de abogados. Despu\u00e9s mantuvimos la conexi\u00f3n v\u00eda e-mail, basada en el anhelo mutuo de mejor dedicarnos a otra cosa. \u00c9l se convirti\u00f3 en periodista; gan\u00f3 un <strong>Emmy<\/strong>. Nunca imagin\u00f3 para qu\u00e9 le servir\u00edan ambas profesiones, hasta que el devenir del destino se lo ha hecho evidente.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abSe dieron una serie de factores para que mi mam\u00e1 est\u00e9 libre, desde milagros hasta tenacidad y conflagrancia social\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Alonso es un tipo especial, de esos que defienden lo incuestionable y que, a su vez, creen en certezas que no necesariamente se aprecian a simple vista. En su primera visita a la c\u00e1rcel, le ense\u00f1\u00f3 a su mam\u00e1 la t\u00e9cnica del pranayana, el control lento y silencioso de la respiraci\u00f3n para brindar tranquilidad al cuerpo y la mente.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u00abAl mismo tiempo comenc\u00e9 a hacer ejercicio. No estaba dispuesta a dejarme morir. Nadie, ni siquiera el fiscal m\u00e1s perverso en las peores condiciones, tiene el poder para disponer ya no tanto de nuestras vidas, sino de nuestra determinaci\u00f3n. As\u00ed que baj\u00e9 a lo que llaman el \u00e1rea verde, una especie de solar amarillento y \u00e1rido al que le di varias vueltas. Encontr\u00e9 a dos internas que seg\u00fan levantaban pesas, aunque como no hab\u00edan pesas simplemente platicaban. M\u00e1s apartada vi a otra reclusa que, por sus movimientos, parec\u00eda tener idea sobre rutinas. Me acerqu\u00e9 a preguntarle, lo neg\u00f3 y me pidi\u00f3 que la dejara en paz. D\u00edas m\u00e1s tarde, ante mi insistencia, me confes\u00f3 que hasta antes de su encarcelamiento se ganaba la vida como entrenadora personal.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\u00bbLa c\u00e1rcel te enflaca mucho. Perd\u00ed el hambre por completo. Llevaba 20 a\u00f1os haciendo ejercicio y sab\u00eda que, o evitaba lo cardiovascular, o desaparecer\u00eda. <strong>Mara<\/strong> acab\u00f3 siendo mi coach y la de otras internas que poco a poco se nos unieron. Tambi\u00e9n se volvi\u00f3 una de mis mejores amigas. Con botellas rellenas de agua nos puso ejercicios de fuerza y algunas series de lagartijas, sentadillas, desplantes y abdominales. Una vez que estabilic\u00e9 mi peso, adem\u00e1s sub\u00eda y bajaba corriendo los 55 escalones de los tres pisos de escaleras a mi celda.<\/p>\n<p>\u00bbM\u00e1s all\u00e1 del cuerpo, las dos horas de ejercicio serv\u00edan para que nuestra mente se concentrara exclusivamente en ese esfuerzo y nuestros pensamientos se liberaran de todo lo que nos atormentaba la cabeza. Por eso el grupo crec\u00eda tanto como el sentimiento de compa\u00f1erismo que sutilmente, sin que nadie se diera cuenta, se propag\u00f3 entre las mujeres de <strong>Santa Marta Acatitla<\/strong>. Y ya no s\u00f3lo nos reun\u00edamos por las ma\u00f1anas en la tal \u00e1rea verde, pronto empezamos a armar rompecabezas por las tardes, otra pr\u00e1ctica distractiva que tiende a reconstruir las conexiones neurol\u00f3gicas. Probablemente el pranayana fortaleci\u00f3 su sistema inmune, o pudo ser el ejercicio o el amor propio que tambi\u00e9n robusteci\u00f3 durante su injusto confinamiento. Da igual, al final, las tres son t\u00e9cnicas para sobrevivir.<\/p>\n<p>Hubo, s\u00ed, quienes al principio trataron de agredirla. Sin embargo, qui\u00e9n sabe de d\u00f3nde sac\u00f3 ella la valent\u00eda para enfrentarlas con palabras que las llevaron a reflexionar.
