Resulta ir\u00f3nico que en esta era de las comunicaciones, las personas nos comuniquemos cada vez menos. Especialmente porque, en el fondo, todo mundo quiere ser escuchado y tomado en cuenta. Todos deseamos ser vistos, que nos dirijan la palabra a los ojos.<\/p>\n

Por eso, quien nos presta atenci\u00f3n, nos hace sentir especiales. Y, aunque son pocas las personas con este don, afortunadamente las hay. Yo tengo la suerte de conocer a dos: a mi entrenador de atletismo y a quien fuera mi maestra de musicoterapia, en paz descanse.<\/p>\n

A Rub\u00e9n<\/strong>, de quien ya he hablado en esta columna, lo encuentran todos los mi\u00e9rcoles en la pista de Villa Ol\u00edmpica<\/strong>. No s\u00e9 con exactitud cu\u00e1ntos corredores formamos parte de su equipo, pero en el turno de la ma\u00f1ana habremos f\u00e1cil veinte. Todos, sin excepci\u00f3n, nos acercamos a \u00e9l, todos buscamos un poco de su exclusividad, de su retroalimentaci\u00f3n, sus consejos y su cr\u00edtica constructiva. De su mirada.<\/p>\n

Y ah\u00ed est\u00e1 \u00e9l para nosotros, no nada m\u00e1s dispuesto a o\u00edrnos con total escucha, sino tambi\u00e9n con la capacidad de alejarse y tomar su espacio para concentrarse en observarnos, para fijarse en la zancada de cada uno, en el braceo, en la postura, en el instante en que cruzamos la l\u00ednea de salida y llegada, porque en su sencillo reloj Casio<\/strong> lleva los tiempos de unos y otros, desde el de su mejor velocista hasta el del m\u00e1s rezagado. Encima sabe, porque nos conoce, cu\u00e1nto cronometraremos.<\/p>\n

El inter\u00e9s en los dem\u00e1s y la atenci\u00f3n son igualmente m\u00fasculos que deben ejercitarse para fortalecerse. Es una pr\u00e1ctica a la que a veces me recrimino no dedicarle el tiempo justo, sobre todo cuando descubro a mi peque\u00f1o hijo emocionado despu\u00e9s de reconstruir paso a paso para m\u00ed el golazo de Messi<\/strong>, ese que festejo dizque con sorpresa, pues en realidad no lo atend\u00ed por distraerme con la factura por cobrar o en la que olvid\u00e9 corregir.<\/p>\n

Lupita, en cambio, atend\u00eda con su absoluta presencia a cada uno de sus alumnos, que no \u00e9ramos pocos. Al final de cada meditaci\u00f3n musicalizada, a trav\u00e9s de la cual guiaba aquellos viajes misteriosos, destinaba un tiempo a cada quien. Al que sal\u00eda en l\u00e1grimas de su estado lo reconfortaba, lo o\u00eda, le prestaba toda su atenci\u00f3n. Acto seguido, cerraba los ojos, tomaba una respiraci\u00f3n y volcaba toda su presencia al radiante. Y as\u00ed con el siguiente hasta llegar al \u00faltimo. C\u00f3mo no sentirnos especiales y \u00fanicos.<\/p>\n
