Show (1964)\" width=\"758\" height=\"426\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/xyJGPJQNY24?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\r\n<p>En estos d\u00edas hemos recibido cientos de muestras de cari\u00f1o y condolencias. Todos los mensajes son muy parecidos, nos transmiten cari\u00f1o, buenos deseos y en uno que otro \u2014quienes compartieron vivencias con mi pap\u00e1\u2014 nos cuentan an\u00e9cdotas que nos emocionan.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>\u201cSiento en el alma su pena. S\u00e9 que no hay mucho que decir en estos momentos, todas las palabras est\u00e1n dichas\u201d, me escribi\u00f3 un amigo de Facebook. Sin embargo, entre tantos comentarios, de pronto me resaltan algunos que s\u00ed se diferencian y me hacen ver que no todo est\u00e1 necesariamente dicho, bien sea por la cercan\u00eda, por alguna peculiaridad o por frases que inconscientemente resuenan en m\u00ed.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>\u201cLo siento, Paco. No tengo palabras. Realmente es algo sumamente doloroso. Te deseo pronta resignaci\u00f3n. Y que Dios lo tenga en un lugar donde se sienta feliz\u201d, dec\u00eda el mensaje de una amiga m\u00eda de la infancia, y entonces vi a mi pap\u00e1 en el brunch de los domingos del <strong>Ritz Carlton<\/strong> de <strong>Laguna Niguel<\/strong>, porque ese era uno de sus para\u00edsos donde se sent\u00eda feliz.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"295\" class=\"wp-image-2019\" src=\"https:\/\/fjkoloffon.com\/anotaciones\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/IMG_4384-1024x295.jpg\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/fjkoloffon.com\/anotaciones\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/IMG_4384-1024x295.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/fjkoloffon.com\/anotaciones\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/IMG_4384-300x86.jpg 300w, https:\/\/fjkoloffon.com\/anotaciones\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/IMG_4384-768x221.jpg 768w, https:\/\/fjkoloffon.com\/anotaciones\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/IMG_4384.jpg 1242w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Acto seguido, no pude evitar dar un recorrido por sus distintos edenes, por todos aquellos lugares donde Dios podr\u00eda tenerlo ahora mismo porque lo hac\u00edan sentir feliz: en Broadway, en la funci\u00f3n nocturna de <strong>El Fantasma de la \u00d3pera<\/strong>; en las primeras filas de un concierto de <strong>Brian Wilson<\/strong>, o en el de <strong>Frankie Valli<\/strong>, aunque fuera en gayola; en su restaurante de mariscos favorito en el muelle de <strong>San Clemente<\/strong>; en un partido de la <strong>NFL<\/strong> o en una maquinita de <strong>Las Vegas<\/strong>; en la secci\u00f3n de caballeros de <strong>Neiman Marcus<\/strong>; en la sala de su casa con su CD de las gaitas a todo volumen; en un <em>Cointreau on the rocks<\/em>; con su falda escocesa en la cena de Navidad o A\u00f1o Nuevo; en primera clase de un vuelo trasatl\u00e1ntico luego de pasar al Duty Free por sus corbatas <strong>Herm\u00e9s<\/strong>; en las caladas de uno de sus cigarros Camel sin filtro; en un coche nuevo; en una buena pel\u00edcula de <strong>Robert De Niro<\/strong> y <strong>Al Pacino<\/strong> con un bote extra grande de palomitas con mantequilla doble.<\/p>\r\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"&#039;The Music of The Night&#039; Ramin Karimloo | The Phantom of The Opera\" width=\"758\" height=\"426\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/EBDxEHzidx0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<p>Mi pap\u00e1 fue un hombre sumamente exquisito. Sin embargo, hace cosa de cinco a\u00f1os, cuando se vio obligado a dejar de hacer todo eso que antes lo alegraba, vivi\u00f3 varios a\u00f1os triste, bastante triste. Tuvo que encontrarse los \u00faltimos d\u00edas del 2018 al borde de la muerte y luchar durante m\u00e1s de cuatro meses por su vida en el hospital para arrancarse de tajo varios pensamientos que condicionaban su felicidad a esos peque\u00f1os placeres y lujos de la vida que a veces tanto nos confunden a las personas.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Fue entonces cuando se dio cuenta de que la aut\u00e9ntica felicidad que le provocaban aquellos extravagantes sitios, proven\u00eda m\u00e1s bien de poder compartirlos con nosotros. Ah\u00ed estaba la magia. Y no lo digo yo, me lo dijo \u00e9l.<\/p>\r\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Cumplea\u00f1os 69 de mi pap\u00e1.\" width=\"758\" height=\"426\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/MFfb5Id-Ygk?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<p>Los dos \u00faltimos a\u00f1os de su vida, <strong>Francisco Jos\u00e9 Koloffon Duncan<\/strong> vivi\u00f3 en paz y se reconcili\u00f3 con la sencillez. Pocas veces volvi\u00f3 a ponerse una corbata de seda; solo se subi\u00f3 a un avi\u00f3n, con destino a <strong>M\u00e9rida<\/strong>, y nunca m\u00e1s prob\u00f3 el champagne ni nada que alterara su percepci\u00f3n de las cosas. Mi pap\u00e1 fue feliz en su casa, los domingos, cuando nos reun\u00edamos a comer todos.
