El tiempo apremia y me quedan dos horas para entregar esta columna. El peri\u00f3dico cierra edici\u00f3n a las 21:00 hrs. Son las siete de la noche y apenas defin\u00ed el tema. Ya antes escrib\u00ed aqu\u00ed sobre el tiempo. Lo bueno es que cada vez es distinto, cada d\u00eda corre de diferente forma y cada noche, depende de la armon\u00eda de los sucesos o del bullicio de los acontecimientos, nos lleva a la cama de una manera \u00fanica.<\/p>\n

Por eso las palabras sobre el tiempo pueden ser inagotables. Y quiz\u00e1, tambi\u00e9n, porque es infinito, aunque de pronto ciertas situaciones hagan parecer o nos lleven a desear que no.<\/span><\/p>\n

El reloj del circuito donde corro lleva por lo menos tres meses mal. A las siete de la ma\u00f1ana, hora a la que usualmente llego, marca la 1:37. Nadie ha sido capaz de ajustarlo y me pone de mal humor cuando se me olvida y volteo a verlo. \u00bfNo hay en todos los Viveros de Coyoac\u00e1n un encargado de poner la hora correcta?<\/p>\n

A partir de que mi pap\u00e1 se enferm\u00f3, los relojes de su casa dejaron de funcionar durante una larga temporada. \u00c9l les daba cuerda. Fue un poco como si el tiempo se detuviera, aunque a \u00e9l se le vinieron algunos a\u00f1os encima. El tiempo es relativo, como dec\u00eda Einstein, pues avanza a diferente velocidad para unos y otros, seg\u00fan la velocidad a la que nos movamos en relaci\u00f3n a la luz.<\/p>\n

Justo ayer mi esposa, acelerada por naturaleza, me pregunt\u00f3 qu\u00e9 se sent\u00eda vivir a mi velocidad. \u201cEs una maravilla\u201d, le dije y acab\u00e9 de sacarla involuntariamente de sus casillas mientras segu\u00ed buscando en Netflix una pel\u00edcula.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Aunque hoy mi padre se encuentra mejor, ahora la responsable de sus relojes y de la maquinaria es mi mam\u00e1. Con el tiempo, de repente, los papeles cambian.<\/p>\n

En mi casa no hay relojes. Con celulares y iPods tenemos. A m\u00ed, de hecho, me gustar\u00eda no usar ni despertador. Conozco un amigo que antes de dormir se programa para despertar a la hora que desea. Tiene su reloj biol\u00f3gico muy bien sincronizado y cuenta que es cuesti\u00f3n de conectarse, escuchar el tic-tac y al cerrar los ojos fijar la hora para volver.<\/p>\n

Yo me despierto con alarma \u2014pero trato de que sin angustia\u2014, veo a mis hijos, me alisto y, reloj en mu\u00f1eca, me voy a correr. Para los corredores es esencial, por lo menos para los que entrenamos y queremos volvernos m\u00e1s r\u00e1pidos. Pero luego, con los a\u00f1os, el tiempo es lo de menos. Al fin nunca le vamos a ganar.<\/p>\n
